UPT CrossFit offers three types of CrossFit classes specifically designed for different fitness levels and goals.
Your UPT CrossFit journey begins with our CrossFit Fundamentals class where you will have a chance to meet our trainers, get a tour of our facility and get a taste of what CrossFit is all about and why it has been called the world’s most effective and addictive training method.
During this introductory class you will be exposed to the basic elements of a typical CrossFit workout in a small group setting so you can ask as many questions as you want. At the end of the one hour session your CrossFit coach will provide you with some general feedback and guidance on what your next step will be.
The UPT CrossFit Unloaded class is meant to serve as both as a “Beginner CrossFit” and “CrossFit Lite” class for people who are either just getting into CrossFit or those who are still unconformable with moving ”loaded” (i.e. heavier) weightlifting bars.
One of the great things about CrossFit is its scalability. Young or old, newbie or seasoned veteran, anyone can participate and enjoy the benefits of a CrossFit workout. We have members ranging in age from 7 to 77 and in skill level from first-timers to Olympic athletes. In CrossFit everyone does the same movements and workouts, it’s the intensity level that is modified to reflect the goals and capabilities of each individual athlete. If you just starting out or still a little hesitant to start throwing some serious weight around then this is the class for you.
CrossFit in all of its blood-pumping, heart-racing and sweat-producing glory! At UPT CrossFit we offer regularly scheduled CrossFit classes throughout the day, every day of the week. Each class is led by a qualified and professional CrossFit coach and lasts an hour. Since, by design, CrossFit workouts are constantly varied, no two sessions are the same. We do not use machines because in CrossFit you are the machine. We use bars and weights, climbing and skipping ropes, kettle bells and medicine balls, rings and pull-up bars, the floor and the wall. We use our hands and feet, arms and legs, back and stomachs. We push, we pull, we lift, we run, we jump, we climb, we throw, we row, we compete, we laugh, we cheer, we work, we have fun. It’s everything you loved about gym class, the schoolyard and the backyard, all rolled into one.
You’ll work harder than you ever have in your life and you’ll love it.
